Why is my battery not charging? There are a few reasons this might happen. The most common is the switch located on the back of the charger is set to 230. The correct setting is 115. If the battery still does not charge properly check to make sure you have solid connections from the power cord to the charger and the charger to the battery. If the problem continues please call tech support at (602) 980-6874.

My controller is giving off beeps. What does this mean? 2 beeps = The controller will detect motor hall-sensor failure and make 2 beeps of sound, and then it automatically
enters into sensorless control mode. Turn the throttle to run the motor. You may need to push/pedal the
ebike or vehicle a bit in case the motor does not move from stall (This is sensorless control limitation, but
happens seldom).
3 beeps = If the throttle does not work properly or failed in the middle of your ride, the controller will report this
error by 3 beeps of sound. You can drive your ebike at half speed by depress the cruise control button. The
controller will be back to normal mode automatically upon the problem is resolved.
4 beeps = If the power brake lever failed (disconnect from power) in the middle of your way, turn the throttle 4
times or more, the controller will report this error by 4 beeps of sound. You can drive your ebike at half
speed by depress the cruise control button. The controller will be back to normal mode automatically
upon the problem is resolved.
5 beeps = If the ebike does not move and you don’t know what is the cause, or low battery situation in the middle of
your way, you can try to force the ebike work, by
* Grip and hold the power brake lever
* Press cruise control button 5 times
* Hear a beep sound from horn
Then, you can drive your ebike at half speed by depress the cruise control button. You need to turn off the battery power to reset the controller back to normal mode after the problem is resolved.
If the problem continues please call tech support at (602) 980-6874

What is a torque arm? Do I need one? A torque arm is a small piece of metal used when installing a front hub motor kit to keep the wheel from removing the front fork. It is highly recommended that all front forks receiving a motor are steel and not aluminum. However in any case it is a good idea to ALWAYS install a torque arm on every front fork kit. You can order torque arms from Az-E-Bikes in the accessories page.

Does the rear motor come with gears? Can I replace them? The rear motors
do not come with gears. They will take a wide range of gears from single speed up to 8 speed. If you have a larger gear set then you may have to bend the frame out slightly to get them to fit.

I have a 901 kit and the battery indicator lights are not working. How do I fix this? There is a loose green wire coming off on the throttle connector. That wire needs to be connected directly to the positive lead coming off the Magic Controller. Connecting this wire should be easy but if you have problems please call tech support at (602) 980-6874

How long does it take to install a kit? It will take roughly 4-6 hours to install your e-bike kit completely. There might be some light fabrication work that will need to be done to get the bike to work, and look good. Each kit should be easy to install with common household tools. We do offer installation at $80.00.

How far can I ride on an E-Bikes The length of a ride will depend on several things. The Amp Hour determines how far one can go. For instance a 36v16A will go further than a 36v12a. Also the load put on an E-Bike as well as the amount of time the pedals are used can increase or decrease the ride time. A good average is 20-30 miles on a single charge.
